To apply to Alzahra University, the following qualifications are required:
     Applicants must hold High School, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree certificate and transcript of each level to apply for Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate programs, respectively.
     Applicants' academic certificates and transcripts, issued by the universities in the origin country, must be approved either by the Embassy of Islamic Republic of Iran or official agencies of Islamic Republic of Iran in the origin country and should be submitted along with valid Persian and English translations.
     Those international applicants who have formerly studied in educational institutions of Islamic Republic of Iran are required to have their previous graduation certificates to apply for higher levels.
     Applicants are required to possess a valid non-Iranian passport and cannot have Iranian citizenship.
     Applicants of Ph.D. programs should receive their supervisors' approval to proceed with the application process.
     In some certain fields of study (Arts and Physical Education), the applicants are required to pass special practical tests, which are left to the discretion of related department and faculty members.
The programs are conducted in Persian and English. In case the students are not eligible, they will be introduced to Alzahra Center of Teaching Persian Language to non-Persian Speakers (AZFA) to build up a fluency in written and spoken Persian.
     Also, the students are interviewed in English to ensure their qualification for attending the programs conducted in English.
NB In case the programs are conducted in languages other than Persian, the students are required to pass Persian language courses in the approved centers simultaneous with their studies.
NB Master’s and Doctorate programs of English, French, Arabic, and Russian languages are conducted in the specific language of each program.
